Involvement: GIGAMON as of 2011

Corey opened Highland’s Menlo Park office to source, evaluate and pursue West Coast-based investment opportunities across all of Highland’s targeted sectors.

Corey serves on the boards of Archemix, BAROnova, Entourage, Fidelis, Gigamon, MokaFive, OpGen, Pharmaca and Yoga Works. Corey is a former director of AccentCare (acquired by Oak Hill Capital Partners) and Hyperion, and is or has been involved with BÂRRX, Conor (IPO; acquired by Johnson & Johnson), Helicos (Nasdaq: HLCS), NextCard (IPO), NuGenesis Technologies (acquired by Waters Corporation), Pervasis, Telcobuy.com (merged with World Wide Technology), Turbine (acquired by Warner Bros.) and US Labs (acquired by LabCorp).

Prior to rejoining Highland in 2001, Corey worked in corporate development with ONI Systems (IPO; acquired by CIENA). Corey initially joined Highland in 1997. Prior to Highland, Corey worked at Robertson Stephens & Company and The Whitman Group.
