Amir Hochbaum VP R&D Amir Hochbaum joined Allot in 2008 as VP Research & Development, bringing with him over 20 years of experience of managing some of the most successful multi-disciplinary R&D teams in the international high-tech arena. Prior to joining Allot, Hochbaum served as COO of Axerra, an international leader in circuit emulation and service emulation solutions. Before Axerra, he was Senior Vice President of R&D at Vyyo, a leading provider of extended bandwidth solutions for HFC network operators. This followed an 11-year tenure at Avaya where he held various managerial and executive positions including VP R&D and General Manager. Hochbaum holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. with honors in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
